Searching for late 80's Kiis fm radio mastermixes
I've been searching for copies of saturday night Kissfm (98.7 WRKS NY) radio mixes for a few years now. (stupidly lent someone a couple of cassettes I had recorded and they were lost).
Can anyone here help me? I've been to deephousepage.com but to no avail. I'm looking for 2 or 3 in particular. A few of the tracks on the main mix I'm looking for are : Pacific State (808 state), Elvis is dead, Grandpa's party (MC lyte, I think) and Stomp.
Timeframe that I'm looking for is 1989-1990.

Thanks in advance

Jim,

I called Tony Records (owned by former KISS mastermix DJ Tony Humphries) The man answering the phone told me that Tony has copies of the shows in storage and has been asked in the past to put the shows on his website. Tony is thinking about that in the future. I was told the mixes would have to be taken out of storage and converted to MP3s. It is unknown if Kiss FM still has the original tapes.

Here are the links...

Dan, thanks for the response. I've emailed Tony a couple of times in the recent past, but never received a reply.
This does give me a glimmer of hope that I'll one day be able to get a copy of the mix that I really want. I will try these links and see if perhaps, the one I want is there. Otherwise, I'll try calling Tony records myself and see if I can persuade someone there to help my cause..

Thanks Dan, I really appreciate it.
